摘要
iSCSI存储系统具有容量大、高性能、扩展性好等优点,但仍然不能克服目前的磁盘I/O速度普遍跟不上处理器速度和网络传输速度的问题。针对这种情况,提出了一种改进的iSCSI存储系统的缓冲策略,尽量避免在处理请求时直接对存储设备进行读写。实验证明,这种策略提高了网络传输速率,缩短了系统响应时间,增加了系统的并行性。
iSCSI storage system has many advantages, such as greater capacity, better performance and expansibility. However, iSCSI is not able to overcome the conflicts between the lower I/O speed and the higher network speed. To solve the above mentioned issues, an improved buffer strategy was proposed. This strategy avoided operating directly on the storage devices. The experiment shows that the system using the improved buffer strategy has shorter response time and higher I/O speed.
