摘要
基于标签分布协议(LDP)的虚拟专用局域网(VPLS)是应用较广、得到众多厂商支持的一种VPLS方案,并且有望成为IETF标准。它的主要思想是在MPLS网络中利用LDP建立和维护以太网伪线,并基于伪线将多个局域网两两互连成一个VPLS网络。针对这种方案中存在的全互联问题,IETFLasserre提案给出了一个分层VPLS的解决建议。基于该提案,给出了两个满足不同业务需求的非全互联组网方案。
Label distribution protocol (LDP) based virtual private LAN services (VPLS) has been widely used and is competitive to become the IETF standard of VPLS, However, traditional LDP based VPLS can not be deployed in large-scale networks due to the full mesh connection problem of pseudo wire, To this issue, an IETF draft gives a hierarchical VPLS solution; based on this, two practical networking designs, which can avoid full mesh connections and meet certain specific requirements, are given.
