浅谈陈去病的《五石脂》

On Chen Qubing’s Wu Shi Zhi

《五石脂》是20世纪初宣传反清思想的著作之一。它采用笔记体的形式,站在汉民族立场上,搜罗宋明两代毁于“髡胡”的遗事,激发民众的民族气节,有很高的思想价值;它灵活驾驭复杂的材料,显示了娴熟的叙事技巧,具有很高的文学价值;而保留的大量资料和贯穿其中的严谨科学的态度,又使它具备了相当的史料价值。

Wu Shi Zhi is one of the most important works advocating resistance to the Qing Dynasty. From the standpoint of the Han nationality, the author has collected incidents of the ruin of the Song and Ming Dynasties in short sketches, and activated national integrity. Therefore, the novel is of great ideological value. Furthermore, the writer＇s adept narrative skills revealed in the flexible control of such complicated historical materials endow the literature with literary value. Meanwhile, preservation of historical materials and strict scientism running through the whole novel entitle it to the value of historical data.
