摘要
语言是文化的载体,是文化表达和传达的重要手段。文化差异是客观存在的,英汉两种语言之间的差异是由语言的文化差异所决定的。在不同的语言文化里,相同词语可有不同的含义,不同的词语可有相同的含义。
Languages, the carriers of cultures, are the essential means to express and transmit cultures. The existence of cultural differences is objective, which owes much to the differences between English and Chinese. In different cultures, the same words may convey different meanings , or different words may convey the same meaning.
