The Six Contradictions for the Development of Civilian-run Higher Education

我国民办高等教育取得了举世瞩目的成就,但其发展过程中也凸现多种矛盾。经济规律与教育规律,资本寻利性与教育公益性,巨大投资需求与投资渠道单一,规模扩张与质量保障,市场急剧变化性与专业相对稳定性,职业导向与人文导向等矛盾冲突的存在,势必影响我国民办高等教育持续健康发展,应给予正确的认识和对待。

The higher education of our country has gained outstanding achievement, but there arises various contradictions in the course of development ,they are：the contradiction between economic rule and education rule;that between the nature of capital seeking benefit and the nature of education public welfare ;that between the large need of investment and the single investment channel;that between the scale and the quality ; the change of the market and the relative stability of the special courses ;vocational guidance and the human guidance. These will surely affect the healthy and durable development of our country＇s higher education ,which should be correctly known and approached.
