从贾府诸多悖逆事体情理的人际纠结看《红楼梦》的梦幻特征

On the Illusion Characteristic of A Dream of the Red Mansions——From Lots of Absurdities in the Jia's

“只取其事体情理”虽被标示为《红楼梦》的写作宗旨,但以此对照其具体的人物事件所出现的悖谬现象却不乏其例。诸如:宝玉8虚岁便做起儿女情事;大宝玉6岁的青年女尼妙玉竟然在众目睽睽中为13岁的少年宝玉送笺祝寿;贾赦的独子贾琏并非过继给贾政,却不住自己家中而替叔婶管家理事等,莫不如此。然而,这并非作者的失误或败笔,实有深意存焉!因为《红楼梦》写的是社会人生之梦,它是由一连串小梦分梦联缀而成的,上述诸种悖谬现象不过是一场场扑朔迷离的人生之梦而已。

Though the writing tenet of A Dream of the Red Mansions is to make everything described in the story reasonable, there are lots of absurdities. For example, Jia Bao- yu, who was under the age of eight, began to have sex with others; a nun named Miaoyu, who was senior to him by six years, congratulated him on his birthday in public; Jia She didn＇t have his only son Jia Lian adopted by Jia Zheng, but Jia Lian managed household affairs for his uncle ＆ aunt instead of living in his own home. However, they are not the author＇s errors or faulty expressions in writing. They have deep implications, for A Dream of the Red Mansions is a big dream about society and life, and it consists of a series of minor dreams. The abovementioned absurdities are nothing but some complicated and confusing dreams.
