Taking Prime Farmland as Green Belt for Urban Spatial Planning in Greneral Land Use Planning of Metropolitan Area

耕地不仅具有食物生产功能,而且具有生态与景观功能。大都市区的土地利用总体规划应将基本农田作为绿色隔离带,以有效地阻止城市"摊大饼",实现城市空间规划:同时,一方面可以改善城市的生态环境,另一方面可以实现国家耕地保护的目标。

Besides the most basic function of food production, the cultivated land also have the ecological and landscape function. If taking the prime farmland as the green belt for urban spatial planning of metropolitan area, it can overcome the urban over-spreading problem efficiently. Taking the prime farmland as the green belt also has another two effects, one is to constructe the good ecology for city; another is to fitt the goal of protecting cultivated land of Chinese government.
