This is a small airport situated some eight miles south of the Falls, which are on the Zambezi River, the common border between Zimbabwe and Zambia in central Africa. They were named after Queen Victoria by the great Scottish explorer, Dr David Livingston in 1855, and who was perhaps the first foreigner to see this magnificent sight.
