本次对高校图书馆参考咨询工作现状进行网上与实地调研相结合,进行分析、研究、思考,旨在为增强西北地区高校图书馆咨询工作的重视度,使咨询工作进一步科学化、个性化、网络化,为推动数字化图书馆建设提供一些科学有效、客观真实的理论依据。

Intemet reference consulting is a new and advanced way of reference consulting service that integrate intenet technology, library information and expert resources,It is the development of the traditional reference consulting with the help of Intemet technology. The investigation into university library service through both Intemet and field work analyses and reflects on the data collected so as to highlight the importance of consuiting service of university libraries in the northwest areas and to make the sevice more systematic and closely connected with Intemet techology. As a result, a scientific theory foundation may be provided for the the establishment of digital ized libraries.
