A Study of Transnational Acquire and Merge Theory Paradigm of FDI School

FD I学派跨国并购理论主要是从国际直接投资(FD I)角度,研究厂商跨国并购的根本原因与行为动机的理论学说,是西方企业并购理论的一个重要流派,基本按照产业组织思路与资源禀赋思路展开分析。20世纪60年代以来的FD I跨国并购理论的演化呈现出以下特征:在主导思想方面,新古典政治经济学取代了新古典经济学;在研究思路上,产业组织思路取代了要素禀赋思路;研究重心由新建FD I转向跨国并购FD I;研究视角由单一性理论研究转换成综合性理论研究。

Mainly from the perspective of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), transnational acquire and merge theory of FDI school is the theory on the essential reason and motivation for multi-national acquire and merge, and it is one of the important schools of western enterprises acquire and merge theories. The theory is expanded basically according to Industrial organization and resource endowments. Since 1960s, the evolution of multi-national acquires and merge theory of FDI takes on the following characteristics: first, as to dominant idea, neoclassical economics was replaced by neoclassical political economy. Second, for study approach, resource endowments approach gave way to industrial organization approach. Third, the study emphasis has been changed from newly built FDI to transnational acquire and merge of FDI. At last, as to the study angle of view, one-fold theory study has switched into synthetic theory study.
