Procurement management is an important means for the enterprises in supply chain to reduce costs and to enhance the competitive advantage.By exploiting single-cycle continuous newsvendor model,this paper analyses and compares the benefit mechanisms of e-procurement and traditional procurement,quantify the effect of Intemet on procurement management in supply chain.
