It is necessary for us to carry out a modem transformation and reconstrucfion on the traditional Chinese Exegefics for its surviving and developing at the present day. First of all we must have an unambiguous comprehension on the characteristic and studying object of the subject. In the next place we should construct a perfect and rigorous academic system on it. After reconstructing the modem Chinese Exegetics should be an especial subject of the semantic hermeneufic on the Ancient Chinese which conserves the cream of our traditional culture and possesses the abundant humanistic spirit of our age.
