The 4.3m stamp-charged coke oven and 6m coke oven were compared in terms of economy and technology. The technology advantages of the stamp-charged coke ovens were expatiated from the resource, environment of coke and economy. The technology development direction of stamp-charged coking was pointed out. It suggests that the 4.3m stampcharged coking technology should be popularized extensively in China, which will serve as a foundation for the application of ever larger capacity stamp-charged coke ovens in the future.
