The problems existing in the operation of the 2 axial-flow and 2 radial-flow internals of the Ф1200 synthesis tower were analyzed. The revamping by replacing the 2 axial-flow and 2 radial-flow internals with 3 axial-flow and 1 radial-flow internals and its effect are introduced. The revamping proves to be good and excellent economic benefit has been obtained.
