摘要 介绍一种基于嵌入式处理器的视频采集与传输系统方案,该方案硬件平台由FreescaleMXL处理器和CMOS图像传感器组成,在嵌入式Linux平台下利用软件实现视频数据的采集、MPEG-4编码和网络传输。为提高视频编码效率,利用处理器内嵌的多媒体加速器硬件实现DCT算法,并对运动估计、量化、半像素插值等关键部分进行汇编优化。试验结果表明该方案对分辨率为QCIF的图像可以达到20帧/秒的编码效果。 A scheme of MPEG - 4 video acquisition and transmission system based on embedded processor is presented. The hardware platform comprised a Freescale MXL ann processor and a CMOS image sensor. Video acquisition, encode and transmission were implemented by software under embedded Linux operation system. To improve efficiency of MPEG - 4 eneoder, the multimedia accelerator of MXL processor was utilized to implement discrete cosine transform, and some critical modules such as motion estimation, quantization and half pixel interpolation were optimized by assemble language. Experiments show that the scheme can encode QCIF resolution video about 20 frames per - second.
