定势思维是人们思维中普遍存在着的一种心理现象,它指的是人们按照一种固定的思路去看待问题,解决问题,表现了人们思维的倾向性和专注性。同其他任何事物一样,定势思维有它的积极的一面,也有消极的一面。定势思维现象在大学生英语写作中极为常见,并严重地影响了学生对英语知识的接受和能力的提高。在大学生英语写作的过程中,产生这种定势思维的原因很多,其中母语的干扰因素最为突出。

Fixed thinking mode is a kind of psychological phenomenon which exists to a great extent in people＇ s thinking. It means that people often use a fixed thinking mode to understand and deal with a problem. It shows the tendency and focus that people will adopt when involved in thinking. Like everything else, fixed thinking mode has its positive as well as negative value. It is commonly observed in college students＇ English writing and affects seriously their understanding of English knowledge and improvement of their ability. In the process of their English writing, there are a number of causative factors for fixed thinking, of which the interference from the mother tongue is perhaps the most crucial.
