On Trends in Australian Higher Vocational Reform and Development

澳大利亚高等职业教育虽然有一百多年的历史,但真正获得快速发展却是在20世纪80年代以后。走以内涵发展为主的道路,建立国家职业资格证书制度,发动企业参与,扩大办学规模,提高办学效益是澳大利亚高等职业教育近年来改革与发展的主要举措。

Australian higher vocational education has a history of more than one hundred years; but actually it has been developing rapidly and changing a lot since 1980s. This paper probes into the latest trends and main reform measures in Australian higher vocational education, including： to achieve the self-improvement as its main goal; to estabhsh the system of national vocation qualification certificate; to encourage the involvement of enterprises; to enlarge the schoolrunning scale and to promote the benefits of vocational education.
