我国电解铝产业明显地表现出过度竞争与低效率并存的特征。其主要原因在于市场容量的一度扩大引致的企业"非理性"投资冲动、地方本位主义及其利益驱动导致的企业进入壁垒失效、市场机制的不完善造成的企业并购重组与退出障碍等。因此,必须在进一步明确我国电解铝产业长期发展战略的基础上,制定一系列有利于电解铝产业健康发展的产业政策,推动企业技术创新和企业之间的兼并联合与优化重组,构建大型企业集团,提高企业竞争能力和竞争效率。

At present, a character of excessive competition is obviously appeared in our country＇s electric aluminum industry. The problem is mainly caused by the following factors： The increasing demand for primary aluminum during the past years ;Profit-drived localism and invalidation of barriers to entry ;The faultiness of market mechanism and the short of government＇ s policies and strategies in the development of aluminum industry; etc. So the article conclude that the government should take measures to build oligopolistic markets which could not only enhance the efficiency of aluminum market but also advance the level of market competition.
