Objective To introduce an arthroscopic technique for the reduction and fixation of pediatric tibial eminence fractures. Methods Twelve cases of type Ⅱ and type Ⅲ pediatric tibial eminence fractures, according to the classification of Meyers and McKeever, were treated with arthroscopic reduction and fixation with wire suture in this institution. All of them were followed up. The degree of bone healing and motion of the joints were evaluated. Results All of them got the full bone healing and the normal range of joint's motion during an average 32 months (22-49 months) followup. Two cases had slight positive Lachmann sign and the other one with positive anterior drawer test. Conclusions The arthroscopic technique is an easier manipulation, and deserves to be an ideal treatment for children with tibial eminence fractures.
