韩非子与西塞罗分别是中西法文化源头的两位代表人物,他们的法治思想在哲学基础、法的本体论、法的运行论、法的作用与目的上均存在着截然不同的看法。二者法治思想的不同,彰显出中西法文化的基本差别,这种差别对中西社会的历史走向产生重大影响。

Hanfeizi and Cicero are two representatives in the cultural source of China and western countries respectively and they have different opinions in the aspects of philosophy basis, ontological theory of law, operation of law, action of law, purpose of law and so on. The differences of the legal thoughts of the two persons reveal the differences of legal culture between China and western countries, which has great influence on development of society and history of China and western countries.
