Li Luanxuan and His Poem of Xinjiang

李銮宣是清代中叶一位在政治上颇有建树,在诗坛上颇有影响的历史人物。嘉庆年间由于官场黑暗,他被清廷流放西域。他在乌鲁木齐一年间,写下百余首有关新疆风土人情的诗歌,为边陲新疆留下了宝贵的历史文化遗产。

Li Luanxuan made great contributions in politics in the middle of the Qing Dynasty and was also very influential in the circle of poetry. Owing to dark officialdom, he was exiled to the West of China. While he was staying at Urumqi for one year, Li Luanxuan wrote hundreds of poems characteristic of local conditions and customs. These poems have become precious inheritance of Xinjiang＇s history and culture.
