BEFORE we made the trip to Alxa League in Inner Mongolia, we knew that it was the source of Beijing＇s infamous springtimesandstorms. We soon discovered that there is much more to the remote prairie, with its beautiful landscapes, long history, fascinating ethnic culture and progress in modernization.
