WiMAX is an emerging technology.It is able to provide“last mile”broadband connectivity in a larger range than Wi-Fi,and it has a better mobility in the application of high-speed data.In order to realize access through WiMAX,the following problems should be solved：cost,frequency,convergence and indoor coverage.The business prospect of WiMAX is closely related to 3G and Wi-Fi.
