摘要
“气质”与“主义”的关系是威廉.詹姆斯哲学的一个独特内容,是领会实用主义的一个重要视角,也是一个“看似简单,实则不易理解”的问题。通过揭示詹姆斯著作中气质与主义二者之间曦微闪烁而又相呼相应的势态,可以显现他的哲学气质论与实用主义的内在具体关联,即哲学气质论如何通向他的实用主义,他的实用主义又如何显现出哲学调和的气质。
The theory of the philosophical temperament proposed by William James is his unique contribution to philosophy. It is also an important perspective from which we investigate William James＇pragmatism. This article is an attempt to discuss the connection between his theory of philosophical temperament and his pragmatism, expounding how the former leads to the latter, and how the latter presents the temperament of reconciliation.
