城市移民的文化矛盾与社会安全

The Cultural Conflict and Social Security of Urban-Immigrants

流动到城里的农民工应当是城市移民的重要组成部分,那么面对新环境,他们又会遇到哪些文化冲突呢?本文认为,一是结合紧密、以家庭和社区为纽带的乡村文化,与更加注重个人奋斗、更加注重竞争的城市文化的冲突;二是重视情谊的乡村文化,与讨价还价的市场经济理性文化的冲突;三是平等的乡村文化,与歧视性的城市亚文化的冲突。尽管这些冲突的出现有文化价值观的问题,也有制度的问题,但倘若处理不当,最终一定会影响到社会安全,为此我们提出构建和谐社会,一定要先构建起城市移民的社会安全机制。

The migrant laborers who have poured into the city constitute an important part of the urban-immigrants. In the new environment, what kind of cultural conflict have they been confronted with？ This paper is mainly concerned with three kinds of conflict. First is the conflict between rural culture based on the closely family-community tie and urban culture which lays stress on individual effort and competition. Second is the conflict between rural culture emphasized on the bonds of friendship and rational culture of market-oriented economy on the basis of bargaining. Third is the conflict between equal rural culture and biased urban sub-culture. Although the emerging of the conflict has something to do with cultural values and system, if not dealt with properly, it can exert impact on social security. Consequently, it is necessary to establish a social-security system of urban-immigrants for the construction of harmonious society.
