摘要
张彦远的《历代名画记》是中国美术史上出现的最早一部上自上古传说时代,下迄唐武宗会昌元年兼具科学性、全面性、系统性于一体,又将史与论相结合、理论与实际相结合的绘画通史。它所开创的通史体例在古代绘画史论著作中具有典范意义。
Zhang Yanyuan＇ s Famous Paintings in Past Dynasties is the first painting history book that discusses the paintings from ancient times to Tang Dynasty in art history. Combining history with discussion, theories with reality, the stylistic rules and layout of this book is an original creation of the painting history.
