本文针对《“组合同化”说献疑》一文的商榷意见,就考求词语古义的某些原则和方法进行了讨论。主要涉及如何确定语料中多义词的使用意义、如何对待前人的随文训解和辞书释义、如何确认词义的引申和如何看待文献词语用例的年代及频率等几个方面。

Directing against Querying the Theory of Combinational Assimilation （“组合同化”说献疑）, this paper discusses some questions about the principals and methods of textual research on archaic word meaning, It includes some aspects such as how to confirm the meaning of a polyseme in the context, how to deal with the predecessors＇ glosses and explanations of words in dictionaries, how to confirm a word＇s extension and what kind of attitude should be taken to the time and frequency of examples in the documents, etc.
