Strategies on Improving the Instructional Efficiency of Tourism English in Vocational Institute of Tourism

发展旅游经济,需要大量具有综合素质的优秀旅游人才,而英语素质便是其中一个重要的方面。从教学目标、课程模式、教材、教学模式、师资队伍以及旅游英语与基础英语及其他旅游专业课的关系等方面,结合海洋与旅游分院旅游英语教学实践,对旅游职校英语教学改革进行了初步的探讨。

A large number of outstanding talents of tourism with overall qualities are needed to develop coastal and marine tourism industry, and English quality is an important aspect among them. This article puts forward ways of improving the teaching of tourism English and some specific measures, such as reforming teaching mode and teaching materials, building teachers＇ teams, etc.
