Lu Xun As A Translator

本文从统计数字出发,宏观论述翻译家鲁迅一生的翻译成绩及其翻译活动对中国现代小说诗学建构、中俄文学关系的推动、对东欧南欧中欧及北欧“弱小民族”文学的开拓性译介、对早期马克思主义文艺理论的介绍、对日本现代文学、现代文艺理论的译介、以及在20世纪中国翻译文学史、文学史、中外关系的独特贡献。

Based upon the statistics done by the author, this paper is an attempt to generalize one leading translator Lu Xun, his achievement as a translator and unique contribution to the poetics of modern China, impetus upon the Sino-Russian literary relations, the translation activities of the literatures from the Eastern European nations, the initial introduction of the Marxist art theory, as well as to the translation of the modern Japanese literature and aesthetics; hence, his contribution to China＇s cnltural relations with other nations, and to the history of modern Chinese literature and the history of literary translation in the twentieth century.
