A flow injection-turbidimetric method for determination of sulphate in water with on-line preconcentration by cation exchange fiber was established.Under the conditions of the acidity of sample being PH=5.0 and the concentration of eluent(NaCl) being 1.0 mol/L,the results of the determination of sulphate are satisfactory.The linear range,the recovery,the detection limit and the RSD of the present method are 8～320 mg/L,98%～102%,0.11mg/L and 0.26% respectively.The sampling rate is 40/h.
