The extraction mechanism of Ga￣(3+) from hydrochloric acid solution with momo(2-ethylhexyl)2-ethylhexyl phosphonate has been investigated. Results show that the extraction reaction isGa3+ +2H2A2(o)=GaA3HA(o)+3H+ΔH￣0=-11. 009 kJ/mol,ΔG￣0=9.384～11. 136 kJ/mol,-ΔS￣0=68.43～68.74 J/mol.
