On the Origin of the Bo People

僰人是古人类早期智人“昭通人”的后裔,历经氏族社会和夏、商、周直至春秋战国时期,在今昭通、宜宾一带建立了侯国。公元前612年楚濮会战,罗、卢、濮人战败而迁入僰。公元前339年到前329年楚灭巴,部分亡民入,于是、罗、卢、濮、巴融为一体,共称人。公元前256年侯国被秦灭亡。

The Bo people are the descendents of ＂Zhaotong people＂ （early Homo sapiens）. Going through their elan society, the Xia, the Shang, the Zhou dynasties and the periods of Spring and Autumn and the Warring States, the Bos built a Bo State in the present- day Zhao- tong and Yibin. In the Battle between the Chus and the Pus in 612 BC, the Luos, the Lus and the Pus were defeated and they migrated to Bo State. From 339 BC to 329 BC, the Chus conquered Ba State and some of the Bas moved to Bo State. Thus, the Bos, the Luos, the Lus, the Pus and the Bas merged into one, that is, the Bo people. In 256 BC, Bo State was conquered by the Qin State.
