摘要
教育人类学的研究在西方社会经历了一百多年的历史,当初正是人类学者将不同文化族群中的教育现象作为人类学研究对象之一,从此便获得了与家庭、种族、亲属制度、社会组织等领域一样的学术地位,并逐渐地产生了这门学科,同时也决定了这门学科的人类学属性和特征。本文的分析集中在两个大的理论问题上:首先从欧美人类学研究的主题与趋势中,提出人类学的田野工作和理论建构为什么都是围绕“现代性”而展开的。其次,教育人类学在现代性、反思现代性与全球性中是如何开展自己的研究并作出阐释的。
The study of Anthropology of Education has been going on in the West for more than 100 years. Initially, western anthropologists regarded education among different cultural groups as one of the research subjects, such as family, race, kinship system, and social organization. Anthropology of Education today has already evolved into a fully-fledged discipline in the field of anthropology. The thesis has two focuses. First, upon an examination of some major themes and trends in the western anthropological research, it discusses how the idea of “modernity” governs the field work of Anthropology of Education. Secondly, it discusses how the research of Anthropology of Education is carried out against the background of modernity, post-modernity and globalization.
