中国左翼文论的当代反思

A Reflection upon China's Left-Wing Literary Theory from a Contemporary Perspective

左翼文论在中国现代文学史上具有举足轻重的地位和作用,对中国当代文学和文化也产生过直接而巨大的影响。然而,长期以来,对它的研究却相当薄弱,评价也比较简单和主观化,并且充满矛盾。本文用马克思主义的理论和方法,既充分肯定左翼文论的历史合理性,高度重视它对文学与社会现实关系的理解和把握,又看到它在今天仍未失去价值和意义；既指出左翼文论存有的局限性,又探讨了它与当前文学创作和文学研究中所存在的问题的关联。文章还分析了左翼文论对五四文学的超越意向,对文学之功能也给予了多元的复合式理解。

Left-wing literary theory has occupied an important position and function in the history of Chinese modern literature.It also produced an immediate and telling influence on contemporary Chinese literature and culture.Yet it has been little studied,and comments about the theory are often simple,subjective,and conflicting.Using Marxist theory and methodology,this paper not only affirms the historical justification of the left-wing literary theory,but focuses on understanding and grasping the relations between literature and social realities,recognizing the contemporary value and significance of this school of theory.In the meantime,the author discusses the limitations of the school and its relationship with problems in contemporary literary creation and research.The article also analyzes the intended transcendence of the May Fourth literature by the left-wing literary theory,and discusses the functions of literature from various perspectives.
