摘要
本文论述了加拿大沉浸式双语教育和美国淹没式双语教育的差异性,指出它们各自的特点和应用范围。沉浸式双语教育是一种强式和添加型双语教育,其目的是创造一种双元文化,而淹没式双语教育是一种弱式和缩减型双语教育,最终目的是为了实现单语制和单语社会。
This paper discusses the variance between immersion bilingual education in banana and submersion bilingual education in the US, mersion programme can be addictive and illustrating the features and application of the two models. The imregarded as the strong form of bilingual education, aiming to create biliteracy. However, the submersion programme can be subtractive and considered as the weak form of bilingual education with the expectation of realizing monolingualism and monolingual society.
