湛江一直是广东推普的后进区,对湛江地区的强势方言———雷州话与普通话音系的比较研究,有利于湛江地区学校有针对性地进行普通话教学,推动湛江地区的推普工作,提高湛江地区师生的普通话口语表达水平。

Because Zhanjiang has long been the district which falls behind the others in Guangdong to popularize putonghua, so the comparative research on the phonetics systems of Leizhou dialect the superior dialect in——and Putonghua, is beneficial to Putonghua teaching popularizing in zhangjiang, and improving the spoken Chinese level of teachers and the students there.
