The Sun shines over the Beijing Commercial Vehicle Exhibition

2005年7月28日,在似火骄阳的照耀下,第五届北京国际商用车辆及零部件展览会暨第二届全国客车大赛在北京展览馆隆重开幕。受2008年北京奥运会的驱动,今年3月,北京公交完成了奥运公交客车第一标。在未来几年内,北京大量公交客车的更新换代,必将给国内客车企业带来无限商机。在此推动下,本届商用车展实际上已经演变成了一场北京公交客车的争夺战。无论是主机厂还是零部件企业,都着力打出公交客车牌。整个展场也是客车唱主角,而鲜有商用卡车的影子。

Review of the 5thBeijing International Exhibition on Commercial Vehicleand ComponentsOn July 28th 2005, the 5th Beijing International Exhibitionon Commercial Vehicleand Components inconjunction with the 2nd National Passenger VehicleCompetition was held at the Beijing Exhibition Centerunder the scorching Sun. Driven by the Beijing 2008Olympic Games, the Beijing Public TransportHoldings, Ltd. won the first bid for public transportserving the 2008 Olympic Games. In the next fewyears, a large number of passenger vehicles for publictransport will be replaced and upgraded, which willbring out enormous business opportunities fordomestic passenger vehicle manufacturers. In sucha case, this session of Commercial Vehicle Exhibitionhas become a place to scramble for the market ofpassenger vehicles used for Beijing public transport.Whether the manufacturers of complete vehicles ormanufacturers of components, they all played the cardof passenger vehicles for public transport. Therefore,the passenger vehicles became the focus of theexhibition while few commercial trucks were ondisplay.
