摘要
给出了一种新的变长码———同步变长码(SVLC),它具有无限可数的码表,且码表中每个码字都以同步字结尾.研究发现:其码长分布与同步字的移位对称数密切相关,具有连续和非2的整数次幂等特点;其平均码长恰为其移位对称数的2倍;其抗误码扩散能力也与移位对称数有关;某些SVLC的抗误码扩散能力比传统变长码强.
A new coding mechanism with variable lengths, synchronized variable length codes (SVLC), which possessed an infinite code table and each code ended with synchronized code, was presented. It was found that the code length distribution was closely correlated with the shift symmetry properties of synchronized coding and was characterized by sequencing and non-integral power of 2. The length of its average code was exactly double of its shift symmetry and the error resiliency was related with shift symmetry. Some SVLC possessed stronger error resiliency than that of traditional VLC.
