硕士生英语教学改革的研究与思索

Study and Thinking on Reform of Postgraduate English Teaching

随着我国改革开放进程的加快以及中国入世的挑战,国家对高素质人才的需求量大增。硕士生作为较高层次的代表,理应成为既精通专业又具备较强外语应用能力的复合型人才。然而现行的硕士生英语教学大纲(1992年沿用至今)已远远不适应培养高素质人才的发展需要,亟待在英语教学中进行改革调整,学生的综合能力和应用能力也远不如想象之乐观。在此,笔者分析了目前硕士生英语教学的现状及存在问题、进行教学改革的可行性和必要性,并根据自己的教学实践进行了积极探索,提出了一些设想。

With the challenge of China＇s successful entering of WTO and quickening pace of the reform ＆ opening policy,more and more talented people in China are in badly needs. As a postgraduate, they are supposed to be trained as elites both in their specialty and in foreign languages. However, the current syllabus for postgraduate English teaching （from 1992）has already been out of date,it could no longer cater for the need of training their practical competence-Therefore, the reform of postgraduate Endish teaching is at hand. In this article, I try to analyze the present situation and problem in postgraduate English teaching, offer the feasibility and necessity of teaching reform, and providee further discussion according to my own teaching expedenee.
