A number of Chinese poets/poetesses and their works had played a very powerful role as the bugle to call fighting in the historical period of China＇ s Resistance War Against Japanese Aggression from 1930s to 1940s. The poems they offered were full of patriotic fervor to arouse and encourage all of Chinese people to contribute what they could afford to defeat Japanese aggressors. The poems served an incredible function in the period of China＇ s Resistance War Against Japanese Aggression insomuch as it is impossible to underestimate what and how they contributed to the victory of the war. They created a distinctive style of the poetry bearing the deep stamp of the war years on the special historical conditions. This paper expounds the unique feature and great historical merit of the poems in view of their thoughtfulness and artistic charm, as well as the realistic significance to re-read them.
