A Tentative Analysis of the Reasons for the Transatlantic Rift

近年来,美欧之间的分歧成了众人瞩目的问题。造成双方分歧的原因很多,其中包括:双方在美欧关系性质上的分歧;双方在义务负担方面的不同看法;双方战略上的分歧;双方关于军事力量的作用的不同看法;双方在价值观上的差异;国内政治的影响;双方对国际组织及国际法的作用的不同理解以及冷战的结束等。

The transatlantic rift between the U. S. and Europe has recently been a focus of public attention. The reasons for the rift are manifold. They include： their disagreement on the nature of the transatlantic relationship, on the obligations to share, their strategic divide, their different understandings of the use of military force, their divergent value systems, the influence of domestic politics, their different views on the intemational situations, and the end of the Cold War, etc.
