The Find of Daquan Wushi Ceranic Coin Models in Meng Zhou City,Henan

最近,孟州市博物馆在当地村民手中征集到2套大泉五十钱范,其形制相同。从其形制结构、文字风格等判断,当为王莽时期盗铸钱币的钱范。这2套钱范的发现对研究王莽时期的社会状况有一定价值。

Mengzhou museum has recently collected two sets of ceramic coin models similar in form . The facial cavity of the models was scored “Daquan Wushi” in intaglio. The form , structure and character style of the models suggest that they were piratical models used in the Wang Mang period. The find of the models is valuable in investigating societies during the Wang Mang period,
