The essence of education modernization is to promote the overall progress of the whole society modernization, armed with the latest achievements of all fields of social culture. The author exacts authoritative data from the World Education Report issued by UNESCO, comparing the average education index of China, Tianjin with that of the developed countries. By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of all sides, the author has come up with effective strategies to boost the process of Tianjin education modernization.
