摘要
《简.爱》是女作家夏洛蒂.勃朗特的代表作。这部自传色彩很强的小说塑造了一个有着鲜明反抗性格、热烈追求独立人格的女性形象。本文按照时间顺序,分析了简.爱在不同时期的性格特点,并指出了《简.爱》的作者由于时代和自身原因而表现出的局限性。
“Jane Eyre” is Charlotte Bronte＇s master piece. As a half-autobiography, this novel creates a heroine who has the spirit of revolt and goes for eager independence. This article analyzes Jane Eyre＇s characters in different phases and points out the author＇s limitations because of the age and her status.
