纠错过多、偏重词汇、忽略输入、单方强调流利性或准确性是大学英语口语教学中的四个主要误区,为此,大学英语教师应做到:不要过多纠错;不仅注重词汇量,更注重学生的语音、语调等基本能力的培养;注重口语素材的输入;流利性和准确性兼顾,不可顾此失彼。

Excessive error-correction, too much stress on vocabulary, oversights on input and imbalance between fluency and accuracy are the four major mistaken ideas in college oral English teaching. For this reason, college English teachers are not encouraged to correct errors endlessly. They are expected to focus on the training of students＇ essential skills on phonetics and intonation as well as vocabulary. Besides, they should emphasize the input of oral materials and give consideration to both fluency and accuracy.
