进入20世纪90年代以来,世界区域合作再度呈现出活跃迹象,各种区域经济一体化组织不断涌现,区域自由化进程大大加快。对当今世界而言,经济全球化和区域经济一体化是两个并存的重要趋势。在区域合作的动机、方式、内容、范围等方面均表现出与以往不同的特点。区域经济合作的蓬勃发展,必然对我国经济产生长远而广泛的影响。

Since the nineties of the last century, international regional economic cooperation has shown a sign of rejuvenation. A variety of regional economic integration organizations keep coming out and regional free - trade zones keep formulating. As for the current world, globalization and integration are two predominant trends. The motive,manner, contents and scope of regional cooperation are quite different from the past. The development of regional economic integration is bound to generate a far and profound impact on China＇ s national economy. From the angle of the trend of the world regional economic integration, this author analyzes the theory of regional economic cooperation and concludes that China must appreciate the opportunity and take up the challenge to participate actively in the process of regional economic integration so as to win the edge in the fierce international competition.
