摘要
介绍一种确定平面介质波导导模折射率的新法，它是Ruschin－Lit计模法的推广。与计模法有关的半相位移关系得到了完善。文中还给出新法在几种有代表性波导中的应用和计算结果。
A new approach to modal index determination for planar waveguides is presented, which is an extension of the Ruschin-Lit mode counting rule. Unified half phase shift relations related to the above rule are improved and completed. The approach applied to some special waveguides and numerical results are given.
