透视中国高等教育的不公平

An Integral Viewpoint on the Inequity of Chinese Higher Education

绝对的公平是永远达不到但又是要永远追求的目标,我们的任务是提高公平的相对程度。文章从不公平角度探讨了中国高等教育的公平问题。作者认为,中国目前高等教育的不公平至少有:统一的高考制度,唯外语(英语)独尊的制度,政府教育部门的权利与责任不对称,高校内部(学校之间、教师之间等)的不公平。

Although the complete equity is the end we want to gain, it is impossible to realize it. Therefore, our task is to make the society more equitable. This paper tries to examine some inequities existing in our Chinese higher education sector. From the author＇s view, the inequities include the unified entrance examination to universities, the system causing English as the unrivaled existence, the asymmetry between power and responsibility of the educational authorities, and the internal inequities in universities and so on.
