A long-distance distributed microcomputer-based measurement and control system is developed, which is suitable for monitoring of many scattered motors. The system performs its functions of measurement and control by means of telephone network, so its communication distance is very long. Moreover, it has many other advantages such as more functions, lower cost, working reliably, being constructed easily and so on.
