镇椒八号杂交一代辣椒品种,中早熟,粗牛角形,果长15～20cm,横径4.4cm,果面光滑,单果重60～95g,果绿色,开展度60cm×55cm,不易早衰,味微辣,抗病毒病、炭疽病,抗寒能力强,早期产量高,667m2产量4500～5000kg,适于长江中下游地区早春露地种植,也可用于保护地秋延后栽培。

The variety is a F1 Hybrid. It＇s mid-early maturity, resistant to virus disease, colletotrichum and phytophthora. And plant frame is 60 cm×55 cm. The fruit is 15～20 cm long and 4.4 cm wide with green and smooth skin. It is slight hot. Premature senility happens scarcely. The single fruit weights 60～95 g, and it yields 4 500～5 000 kg/667 m^2. Zhenyan No.8 is suitable for cultivation in plastic greenhouse in the Yangze River valley and South China.
